Mom’s Against Guns

Moms Against Guns.  My name is Lynne Honickman. I am a mom (and grandmom) against illegal handguns and assault weapons.
Two years ago I was becoming more and more outraged and frightened that little was being done in my city and state to save innocent people—mainly kids—from gun violence. That feeling of helplessness pushed me to consider what I could do. I felt that if I did nothing, I would become another bystander while kids in our cities and in communities across the state would continue to die senselessly. So in October of 2007, I launched a web-based campaign called “Moms Against Guns.”
